JEWELRY & METALS
What is sterling silver?
Sterling silver is what's known as a metal alloy. This means that sterling silver is a combination of metals instead of just one single metal. Sterling silver is 92.5% silver and 7.5% alloy. This means that your jewelry has pure 92.5% silver, that is favored by jewelers for workability and durability. Silver jewelry comes with a 925 purity stamping and is durable, timeless metal, and when cared for properly, can last a lifetime.

Can I wear Silver Jewelry everyday?
Precious metals like silver and gold do best when worn regularly, so feel free to add sterling silver to your jewelry collection with the confidence that it is durable and when properly cared for, will look great today, tomorrow, and 10 years from now.

What is the differnce between 10k and 18k Gold?
First, let’s explain karat. Karat is the unit used to measure the purity of gold. Pure gold is 24kt, or 100% gold. 18kt contains 75% gold (18/24=.75) and 10kt contains 41.7% gold. The reason alloys get added to gold is to make them strong. 24kt is very soft, making it not very ideal for every day wear. Thus, many jewelers opt to work in 10k, 14k and 18k which are very strong.

What is the meaning of Natural Diamonds and Moissanite Diamonds?
Natural Diamonds were created under the earth's surface millions of years ago and are found in mines. Moissanite Diamonds are created in a lab by scientists. There are little differences between the two. It is only possible to separate moissanite diamonds and natural diamonds by a jewelry expert. Only Diamond grading labs with specialised equipment can tell the difference between these.

Are Lab-Grown Diamonds better than Natural Diamonds?
Many people prefer Moissanite Diamonds as they are almost exactly the same as natural diamonds and more more affordable. Moissanite Diamonds on top of being pocket friendly are also preferred for ethical and sustainability reasons. Natural Diamonds are preferred for rarity and resale value. We offer both to our customers.
Natural Diamonds are used only on order basis.
